Wearing the cap & gown is both traditional and required for participation in the procession and ceremony.
Order Regalia for Rent
Order rental regalia by April 12
Undergraduate candidates: rental is free if ordered by 04/12/10
Master degree candidates: rental fee is $17.50
Ph.D. degree candidates: rental fee is $62.69
Law degree candidates: rental fee is $62.69To determine hat size: - measure around head using fabric tape measure - wrap string around head then measure string with a ruler
Pick Up Regalia
Teagle Hall, 1st floor Multi-Purpose Room. Enter Teagle Hall from the parking lot between Teagle and Lynah Rink.
These pick-up dates & times are for pre-orders and walk-ins:
May 26 (Wednesday), 10am-6pm
May 27 (Thursday), 10am-6pm
May 28 (Friday), 10am-6pm
May 29 (Saturday), 10am-6pm
Return Regalia
Please return the cap and gown after the ceremony at one of the collection centers on campus by 5:00pm on Sunday, May 30. The exact locations will be specified in the commencement program.
Order Regalia to Keep (optional)
Ph.D. degree candidates and faculty wishing to purchase a tassel, cap, gown, and/or hood must order by April 1, 2010, to allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. order
